This application and admission procedure only applies to full-degree studies.
Application for autumn semester (study start in September)
All applicants are expected to apply online at www.optagelse.dk/admission. The website will open on 1 February.
How do I apply?
You will find all forms and a detailed guide to the system on www.optagelse.dk/admission. The system itself is smart and user friendly, guiding you step by step.
If you do not have a Danish CPR number (civil registration number), you need to state your e-mail address in order to get your application profile registered in the system. Once you have entered your e-mail address, a direct link to your login page will be sent to your e-mail inbox (if you do not receive this direct link in your inbox, please check your spam-box).
With the login, you can start the online application process. The system will automatically create a temporary CPR number for you. Your e-mail address and this temporary CPR number will be used to identify you throughout the whole application process, both within the application system and by UCL University College.
Applicants with a non-Danish educational background must apply online from 1 February and no later than 12 am on 15 March. You submit the application form + enclosures online via www.optagelse.dk/admission. Some enclosures, for instance, the English test or the secondary diploma, may be posted or e-mailed to us later. Late applications should also be submitted online. Applicants who apply after deadline can only be accepted if there are seats available.
Signature page (VERY IMPORTANT!)
When you have submitted your digital application(s), you must use the special print icon to print a signature page which contains a code. You must sign and send this signature page to all institutions you have applied to. Your application will not be considered if you do not send the signature page since we will not be able to access your application. Application for the spring semester is done through an application form that is available at our website from early September. Deadline for submitting the application form differs between the study programmes - please find information about the application deadline on the specific programme page.
