Committees and counsils

Being at eye level with the students is a central value to Lillebaelt Academy. This is why student democracy is an important part of the organisation. The overall purpose is to make sure that there is an ongoing dialogue between the management and the students to secure an involving study environment and quality of our study programmes. At Lillebaelt Academy the students are represented on several levels and with different focus.

Study Council (SR)

SR is closely related to the study programmes and consists of representatives from all semesters/study programmes/classes and the head of department from the individual study.

SR meets at least twice per semester and can also hold meetings without participation from the head of department, if the students’ representatives wish to do so.

The Study Council works with e.g.:

  • Satisfaction surveys and study quality
  • Internship evaluations
  • Other evaluations
  • Teaching activities
  • Curricula
  • Common learning activities across classes and programmes
  • Election of representatives to the Student Council (DSR)

Student Council (DSR)

DSR consists of representatives from the study councils and the principal. DSR deals with different themes of concern to the entire academy.

DSR meets at least once per semester and can also hold meetings without participation from the principal, if the students’ representatives wish to do so.

The Student Council works with e.g.:
